Delicious creamy medicinal breakfast shake
Delicious creamy medicinal breakfast shake

Your two favorite topics, right? Well, as a health care provider, I can tell you, lots of people suffer from constipation/digestive issues on Passover.

Eating loads of matzah is very good for our neshama, but we should probably be taking some proactive steps for our guf. So here you are at refuas ha guf and I have a great tip for you – Chia Seeds!

I’m posting this early so that you still have time to purchase some before Passover.  According to the CRC, raw Chia Seeds without additional ingredients are acceptable for Passover use.

I put some every morning in my shake, so I want to share my shake recipe with you: it’s delicious and medicinal, loaded with healthy omega 3, and it will help keep you regular.

1 cup of organic frozen berries (loaded with healthy antioxidants)

1 cup of coconut milk from a BPA-free can (almond milk also works but is not as nutritious or creamy)

1/2 cup of filtered water

1/2 cup of raw pecans or walnuts (loaded with healthy fats.)

1 tablespoon Chia Seeds

1 tablespoon Raw Honey

Directions: Blend it all up and enjoy!
